I finished last sacrifice WOW it was amazing I couldn't decide if I wanted to read it fast ans find out what became of all our fave characters or savor it since it was the last book in the series. Lead character and Dhampir, Rose Hathaway, is locked in Moroi jail after being framed in the cold-blooded murder of the Moroi Queen. The punishment for this crime is immediate execution. At the same time, she is faced with the challenge of somehow locating princess Lissa Dragomir's lone remaining relative, her secretly existing illegitimate sibling. Murder. Love. Jealousy. And the ultimate sacrifice. Now, with Rose on trial for her life and Lissa first in line for the Royal Throne, nothing will ever be the same between them. There are a few story lines that don't get tied up but that leaves it open for the new spin off series!!!!
Now I cant decide if I want to read braced to bite or reread the VA series!!!
Ill be back soon

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings!
I finished Stefan's Diaries origins a few nights ago and I loved this! It brought to light alot of the back story of Stefan, Damon, and Kathrine. It also was a great way to tie in the Elana/Kathrine that we know from the book series as the blonde haired blue eyed beauty to the dark haired and brown eyed Elana/Kathrine we've all come to love and know from the show. In this book we get to look at how Stefan met and became a huge part of Kathrine's life. And how he knew immediately he had made a mistake the day he forced Damon to join him in eternity.
For the time being Ill just be reading short stories to tied me over till I receive my copy of Last Sacrifice.
Thanks for stopping by again and as always happy readingsNatasha

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings!
I finished Blood Feud a few days ago I enjoyed this follow up to Hearts at stake. Its told from Logan Drake and Isabeau St. Croixs point of view instead of Sol and Lucy but we get to see what became of both of their relations ships as well. As the various clans convene for the coronation of Helena Drake, the new vampire queen, her family is frantically negotiating to create alliances and bring peace to the vampire world. Isabeau St. Croix has been sent as a delegate from the Hounds, a misunderstood clan that practices magic and has strong connections to animals. When Leander Montmartre, a legendary evil vampire, threatens the royal family with his desire for the throne, Isabeau and Logan Drake work together to protect their loved ones. Their relationship becomes intense as they uncover a sinister plot that could destroy all of vampirekind. Harvey continues to weave an action-packed story full of intrigue, suspense, and romance with a great cast of characters. The historical flashbacks into Isabeau's life and the unique vampire lore of the Hounds add a new twist to the genre. A satisfying read in a series that is sure to have a strong following.
I cant wait for the third instalment on this series but for now I'm reading the new Night Star from the Immortals series by Alyson Noel!
Be back soon and thanks again for visiting!

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings
I finished reading Hearts at stake last night! Wow this was a fun book full of action and the mysteries of love! I was constantly asking oooh does he love her and will he save her or kill her? On Solange’s sixteenth birthday, she is going to wake up dead. As if that’s not bad enough, she also has to outwit her seven overprotective older brothers, avoid the politics involved with being the only daughter born to an ancient vampire dynasty, and elude Kieran Black—agent of an anti-vampire league who is searching for his father’s killer and is intent on staking Solange and her entire family.
Luckily she has her own secret weapon—her human best friend Lucy—who is willing to defend Solange’s right to a normal life, whether she’s being smothered by her well-intentioned brothers or abducted by a power-hungry queen. Two unlikely alliances are formed in a race to save Solange’s eternal life—Lucy and Solange’s brother Nicholas, and Solange and Kieran Black—in a dual romance that is guaranteed to jump start any romance-lover’s heart.
Now on to Blood feud the sequel to Hearts at stake

The house they are using is a rental house called ‘Casa Em Paraty.’ Don’t get your hopes up for on set photos, the security will be extremely high and the people on set are forbidden to bring cameras, or cell phones. There won’t be any fans perched out of windows here, like the last scene

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings
Just finished Ghost town by Rachel Caine I love this series I ant seem to get enough of it. While developing a new system to maintain Morganville's defenses, student Claire Danvers discovers a way to amplify vampire mental powers. Through this, she's able to re-establish the field around this vampire-infested Texas college town that protects it from outsiders.
But the new upgrades have an unexpected consequence: people inside the town begin to slowly forget who they are-even the vampires. Soon, the town's little memory problem has turned into a full-on epidemic. Now Claire needs to figure out a way to pull the plug on her experiment- before she forgets how to save Morganville...
Well now onto The Fledgling handbook 101 by PC Cast

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings
Ok well Ive finished 2 books since my last post so this will cover both of them!!
First is Eternal by Cynthia Leitich Smith.
This one was a fun little read while I was waiting for this last weeks big releases. The story circles around Miranda and Zach, Miranda's guardian angel. After revealing himself to Miranda Zach is stripped of his wings and sentenced to live as a human on earth, but the true punishment he faces is that when he revealed himself he put Miranda in direct danger and she was taken and turned into the one thing angels despise the most, vampire. Now he must find her and save the girl he loves and hopefully save her soul. I really liked this book its got a little bit of everything in it and its a quick read.
I just finished Misguided Angel by Melissa De La Cruz. This is part of the Blue Bloods series. After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence--with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the seven gates that guard earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silverbloods. As the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler closer to a terrifying crossroads--and a choice that will determine the destiny of all vampires. We also get to meet a new character in this book Deming a venator brought in to find the killer of a missing blue blood. I hope we get to see more on Deming in the future!!! I loved this book as I love all the Blue Bloods books. This series is simply amazing if you haven't picked these up yet I say "What are you waiting for?" Thank you Melissa for an amazing series I cant wait to see what will happen next!

As she discovers more about her past lives, Luce starts to suspect that Daniel is hiding something. What if he has lied to her about their shared past? A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings
I just finished the Haunted. I loved this book, I am finding this series gets better with every page.
After months spent reclaiming her sanity and trying to forget the boy she fell in love with--the boy who must not exist, cannot exist, because she knows that he is dead--Abbey returns to Sleepy Hollow, ready to leave the ghosts of her past behind. But Abbey can never get over Caspian, and Caspian has no choice but to return to her side, for Caspian is a Shade, and Abbey is his destiny.
I'm now on to Torment the second book of the Fallen series by Lauren Kate

A few of Tasha's thoughts on her readings
When Abbey's best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead… Then she meets Caspian, the gorgeous and mysterious boy who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen's funeral, and keeps reappearing in Abbey's life.
I loved this book it had just the right amount of suspense and romance to keep me on the edge and always hungry for more. I highly recommend this book for those whom are looking for something new to read!
I'm now reading the second in this series The Haunted be back soon with my thoughts!
